Was one of my favorite spots. Last time I ate there was before my last final. RIP.

It closed? They ruined it when they moved it to the Union. Before that it was the best place on campus to eat.

Yep the little wooden shack
It was definitely the best. That bourbon chicken was so good. You could get a salad with bourbon chicken for like $3 too.

Yep, a side of chicken (bourbon or buffalo) and some mashed potatoes for just over $2 was a frequent lunch choice for me and other broke engineering students toiling away in the labyrinth at CEBA.

They are supposed to put something inside of the new Pat Taylor building but I will believe that when I see it.
Right now they have food trucks out there - one from Roly Poly I believe.
Chick N Grill was the best - you could also get pizza there. Tore down the that building and the Old Forestry Bldg and it's now green space/front entrance to Pat Taylor.

They should have at least put a coffee stand in there.

I graduated in 2013 and every time I pass near LSU now I feel like a grandpa. I think I'd be stressed out if I walked on campus and didn't see things I was used to seeing.

Delicious Bourbon Chicken burritos without the crowd of the Union, one of my fondest LSU memories
Posted on 3/28/18 at 7:57 am to Parmen
used to crush their chicken bowls at least once a week

Same. Very greasy but still enjoyable

Bourbon chicken was my go to. I used to get a bunch containers filled with it that way I never had to cook at my apartment.
Had to use up the tiger cash

Nostalgia aside, that place was horrible. Rice was usually hard, chicken was cold, burritos weren't that great. Now the sandwich place before it (c. 2009) with the fresh fried chips was the GOAT.
