Welp, just dropped another $2800. I can't stand their marketing or their shitty website, but the pewscience numbers are just unbelievable.

CAT MOB
CAT SC/B1
CAT SR/A2

Think I'm going to do a slick SP5K build to use as my MOB host.

That puts me at

(2) 30cal
(1) 45
(2) 9mm
(3) Rimfire

Surely I dont need any more cans now, right?
Love Vince but S1 was just alright. Took them 9 episodes to do what should've taken them 3 or 4 - we didn't need an entire season of them just showing how the world worked now. A lot of wasted time spent flexing the Apple budget. It was well produced TV with a level of quality that few other shows can replicate, but it is certainly not appointment viewing and a lot of people have lost or will lose interest.

No way this goes 4 seasons.

I know a few people that worked for Osteen on the media/broadcasting side and not only is he a giant piece of shite, he's an utter fool as well

I hit this point too except I continued and ended up getting the plat. Silksong was far better about this and I didn't reach a similar point. Having a speaking protagonist and more cinematic, narrative-driven approach helped a lot
Your house is beautiful and the exact kind I'm looking for. I pass by it every day on the way to/from work. Unfortunately it's too big for me (I'm single) and I'm trying to stay under $500k  The problem is that $500k in BR gets you a cookie cutter pos with laminate flooring and a 2in gap between you and your neighbors house.

The market is absolute shite. House shopping here is the most depressing thing

I’ve got to two shows and they were both fantastic. They do such a good job with the live concerts.

Same, I did Chicago in 2020 and Dallas in 2024 prior to this. All were awesome
He only made 1 great movie. The rest were dogshit

If you can pay it off monthly, why even have one?

I have 11 credit cards, all of which get paid off every month. Between the 11, I am getting

3% back on restaurants, transit, drugstores, streaming, and online grocery orders
4% back at gas stations
5% back on travel, Amazon, and Whole Foods
5% back on rotating categories
6% back at grocery stores

I made almost $5k last year in cashback/rewards. That's free money you're just throwing away if you use cash/debit card

There’s one where he gets to the top of a building and the superintendent up there says “I’ve been waiting for you to show up”
Doesn't matter. They're getting rolled
I know we have some Nier fans on here, so this may interest you if you're a fan of the music. I managed to record a good bit of the 8pm show with my Meta glasses. I'm 99.99% sure we're going to get a bluray of the Tokyo show, but given this is Carnegie Hall, I wanted to capture as much of it as I could.

A few caveats

- I was only able to capture footage from 10 songs, most from the pre-intermission portion of the show. Even though I taped up the LED that indicates a video is being recorded, the ushers quickly picked up on what I was doing and I got approached 3 times. You can see one of these in the Copied City video lol. They were constantly watching me for the second half of the show so I wasn't able to get as much from it. Sorry. Shame because I really wanted some footage of Inori (never performed in the US) and the final portions of a few songs like Fleeting Words, but I didn't want to test my luck.

- Meta glasses have a 3min recording cap. Most of the clips are 3 min, but on some fan favorites I managed to get more. I tried my best to immediately start another recording and stitch the clips together, but it's definitely not perfect.

- Though I've been generally impressed with the recording quality of the glasses, the video quality really suffers in low-light conditions. The ISO kicks in and causes the footage to have a lot of visual noise (graininess), though it's still possible to read the show's on-screen text in most instances. I recorded all the show audio with a Rode wireless mic as well, and the audio from the glasses actually came out a little better. I'd imagine the Rode audio would win out after some post processing work, but I'm not skilled enough in that area and we likely have a Bluray coming anyway.
Great job. That level of edge to edge is very rarely done without sous vide

Not sure why I'm getting downvoted lol, this is objectively correct and not up for debate
