Shutter, listen to me. The first couple hours of 2033 are by far the worst in the entire series. Power through them and then lock in, because it gets awesome. 2033 builds to an awesome Act 2/3, you can just see the potential for more. Then Last Light is high octane fun from start to finish, and Exodus is a really well implemented campaign with a perfect mix of open levels and linear ones.

Good lord, that first episode was absolute except for the death scene. Not a single joke landed. Not only is Kimiko's dialogue shite, but for some reason her voice is ADR'd in. Guessing they gave her an accent or something and then decided it didn't work.

My VIII over VII will be a hot take but I thought it aged so much better and the story was so fricking whacky and all over the place that it had a certain charm to it.

From what I've read, VI and IX could contend with X as my favorite

I do a few photo/video jobs a year. Between camera, lenses, lighting, audio, cables, storage, and other misc gear, I'm roughly $18k in the hole ($5200 of this figure is 3 lenses, Sony GM II glass aint cheap)

It's fun and I like doing it, but would never want to do it for a living

Maui was by far my least favorite part of our Hawaii trip (Kauai blows it out the water), but biking down Haleakala and scuba diving at the destroyed pier were some of the best moments of the whole trip
