Placing wagers in the UK

I will be on vacation in England/Scotland from July 2nd through the 18th. Anyone have experience on placing wagers on games & possibly futures wagers while I'm there and willing to share some basic information? Are there places I can place a wager in cash and receive a ticket? Or do I need some sort of non-US bank account?

Bro just walk into a sports book
insert cash
place bet
betting slip comes out
profit???
also literally every high st has 4-10 sportsbooks on it, and bigger towns and cities have them in every shopping center and drinking area

Don't place a wager on England/Belgium.

The way it works, you can bet at one and collect at another as long as its the same company.
Places are always packed with degenerates
Watching dudes bet on random horse racing, watching it on a 27 inch tv or in SD on a 55 inch is hilarious.

Find a william hill location. There are about 20 in London alone.
William Hill and bet365 are the big ones. Pinnacle app should work if you are in england
I would wager you can cash a william hill ticket in nevada if it hits

Ladbrooks, Paddy Power, Coral are all just as big
Where there is one, all the others will be there

True, but I would think you could mail in a futures if it hits to a Will hill in Nevada and they will send you the check.
Not sure the same would apply for Ladbrokes, never seen one stateside

How long has William hill been in Vegas
I didn’t even know they were there
I’m going there in three week, hitting up the sports books for the matches

Not sure how long exactly, but it is the largest sb operator in the country according to their info. Have over 100 locations in nevada and now 1 in new jersey

It was their book at Monmouth Park NJ that drove the Supreme Court case

For real though, bet365 and Skybet are probably advertised the most on tv but both only have an online presence, as a result their odds are usually slightly better as they have very few overheads, but I would think registering might be an issue for you. If you can though, do it then download a VPN on your phone and you can bet with them for the rest of time!
William Hill and Ladbrokes are probably the two with the biggest shop presence, I prefer WH out of the two, but there’s very little difference in any of the high street stores.

You mentioned futures bets.
Stateside you can mail any winning WH ticket to any WH location and they send you back a check. Not sure if that applies to foreign bet slips or not, may be worth a quick contact to customer service or at least ask the book in UK
