I've had them make 2 mistakes just this week. I ordered something for prime day and it got shipped to some facility in Kinder, nowhere near where I am. And I also sold something on eBay and the buyer emailed me that the tracking had it marked as delivered successfully in some city 50 miles from him. Did Jeff Bezos break the postal service?

I live in Lakeview, and we get mail twice a week like we live in the arctic tundra or something. I dont use USPS for anything I am relying on arriving on time or at all.

We have one good postman here, and if he’s not working the route, I either won’t get mail, or I’ll get the neighbor’s mail.

Came home last Saturday to two boxes delivered to the center of my driveway. I had to get out my truck and pick them up so I could continue to the garage. Camera showed the mail truck pulled up to the driveway and she walked just over halfway up the driveway and decided that was a good spot to drop the boxes....40’ short of the porch.

You should let her know that your driveway is able to support the weight of her truck if she wants to use it to drive up to your house. You know, use it as a “drive way”.

Well Fed Ex’s truck just broke down in my driveway. Won’t shift out of park.
Those packages are gonna be late too

US Post Office needs to just go away. I try to never use it for anything.

That's what's happening in my area. When the regular guy is out for one reason or another, it's a crap shoot as to whether I will get my mail, along with other people's stuff.

I never have problems with them. Been selling a lot of stuff on eBay this year, and shipping it all Priority mail. Haven't had the first issue with about a hundred shipments.

My local post office (95124) is staffed by some really competent and friendly people, and the lines always move quickly if there is one.

That's what you get for $30/hr to deliver mail with a good pension too.

Consider yourself lucky. Whenever I have to head to the local Post Office it seems the longer the lines, the less folks working the counter.

I've seen times when 3 workers were behind the counter and if the line got to be a dozen or so deep, one, sometimes two of the three disappear for several minutes at a time. Oh, and I'm not talking about helping a customer by finding a package or anything, just walk off.

Have some beer from Portland that was suppose to be here Thursday and is out for delivery now. Have to run out for the rest of that day. If you know where I live now is the time to come grab it.

I sell a ton of stuff on eBay. I've literally shipped hundreds, if not thousands of packages over the past number of years. I can count on one hand how many times the USPS has mis-delivered or tore up a package of mine.

UPS, on the other hand, treat your packages like a bunch of fricking gorillas. Then again, they are also handling (usually) larger packages/heavier weight packages, so more damage is likely to occur.

The Blackstone? I almost pulled the trigger on that.
