So, I decided to rewatch this series and just got done with the first season.

Jason Street got injured and paralyzed during the first game. Throughout that season, he recovered, started living somewhat of a normal quadriplegic life, learned how to play murderball and became good enough to try out for the national team......all before state championship.

I know the typical answer is "it's just a tv show"

But how long does someone become recovered enough to do all that Jason Street did within a couple months of a horrible injury like that?

Depends on the injury, but definitely > 12 weeks.

Oh it's great. Binged it while on paternity leave last year.

You got a little one on the way right? What's in the queue?

Well, it was supposed to be this until I've cranked through the first season already

He's due any day now, so I'll still have some left.

Not sure what else in the queue. Thinking about a Breaking Bad re-watch.

I just started a rewatch of Breaking Bad. I'm about 3 or 4 episodes into Season 2.

SPOILERS!!

Screw everyone who says the first season is slow. The only real "slow" moment is when they have Crazy 8 locked up in the basement. It seemed like it took forever for them to finally kill him.

The only episode that feels slow to me in that show is The Fly, but that was intentional.

Even the slow paced ones feel tense and never feel boring. Its the GOAT in my mind for this reason.

Good lord.

IMO, season two is the worst, by far. But overall I loved the show.

I cant say I've ever watched that much TV in that short of a time though.

Well I guess 12 episodes in two nights isn't that bad.

Skip Season 2.

Seasons 4 and 5 are the best seasons.

I agree, Skip season 2. It was during the writer strike and is terrible.

I’m sure there are plot developments in season 2 though. Don’t want to be lost.

She's hot. No doubt.

Minka Kelly in this show is from another planet of hotness.

You could perhaps make an, ultimately incorrect, argument for Julia but not Tyra.

She ruined the show for me. I didn’t like it as much as most other people because I thought her acting was so god awful it annoyed me. That’s just me though. I can get taken out of a show quick if I find an actor or character annoying.

She is undoubtedly a horrendous actress. It definitely took me out of scenes.

But she's so fricking hot its easy to get over it quickly.
