the rookie MVP last year was a survivor alum (Sydney). Plus Dee was another great pickup from survivor. Cassidy Clark, Chris Underwood, LSU Tiger Danny McCray. I have to say survivor has been good to the challenge.
Sydney was great because of her personality. I generally don’t like the survivor folks because they come in making it all business but are generally boring tv

It's like they were the leftovers for the road rules or real world shows who were on the cusp of making those shows.
That’s exactly what they were. Laurel said she was a finalist for real world but ultimately didn’t get picked. The should do a casting call as if they were casting for real world and bring in new people who aren’t reality stars. They make for better tv and arent simply trying to make a career out of this shite

A lot of the best folks on the show came from those two fresh meat seasons. I wish they just kept going with that formula every few years instead of making it a reality tv all stars format

It's been a decade since I watched cutthroat. I need to go back and see the format of this season. Obviously remember the backpack but don't remember much. Bananas would have won that season I think without the mercenaries coming in.
They held a race to determine three captains who then picked teams. Winning team each week got cash while the two losing teams had to send a guy and a girl into the gulag elimination. Fairly simple change to their old team format. Wonder if they’ll keep it simple and stick with that formula or do something ridiculously complex like they have grow accustomed to doing

The girl who cuts my hair told me a story about how her grandfather in the atlanta area started having regular booty calls with this old gal up in Blue Ridge, Ga. Only problem was that he couldn’t drive anymore due to his advanced age. So she and her siblings had a rotation where they’d take turns driving him to Blue Ridge and back every weekend so he could do his thing

Would love an elimination where Nurys and Izzy sit on each other’s faces…holy shite this season is bringing some heat.
Two other points/questions:
1) will the elimination arena be The Gulag
2) how will they commemorate the Bananas backpack? I’m assuming there will be a Back Up Off Me elimination

Y'all check out the new season yet? I'm through two episodes and it's off to a pretty solid start.
We started last night with the first episode. The Jury Duty season felt like a real docuseries. This one feel more like a a sitcom and very Office-adjacent (not surprising obviously considering the show runners).
The son of the company ceo or president seems like a TJ Miller knockoff

re: Trip Recap - Costa Rica (La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio) (9 Nights) (Pictures)
Posted by VinegarStrokes on 3/17/26 at 11:28 am to TheJunction
cool trip. very similar to my honeymoon back in 2013.
-Flew into the capital, rented a car and stayed at an air bnb type of place (small casita on the property of the owner who basically lived in another house next door. she cooked us 2 meals)
-drive to Arenal and we stayed at their lodge for 2-3 days.
-drive to Monteverde Cloud Forest and spent 2-3 days (including ziplining and bungee jumping over this canyon. the bungee jump was from an open air cable car. after the jump you are just hanging there probably still 100-200 feet above the ground and they crank you back up....very unsettling)
-drive to Santa Teresa area where we stayed at an eco-resort (open air huts in the jungle right off the beach) for 2 nights and then an actual really nice resort/private cabana with infinity pool up on the mountainside overlooking the ocean).
Top 2-3 trip of all time for us (probably number 2 behind a 10 day trip to Norway).

I think it's just all about the build. I just finished watching the Babe1Babe2 Elden Ring stream series on Youtube where the guy had his 70 yr old dad play through the game. He was horrible in the mechanics of the game but over time had built up a 120 level strength tank character and he ended up beating Malenia in 30 or so attempts. he did use a level 7 mimic tear but honestly I think he could have done it without eventually.
The guy used the rusted anchor for pretty much the entire run through the game. He deviated at times to try different weapons, including blasphemous blade, but always reverted back to the anchor. Really hilarious series to follow over the past few months.
bumping this because the Babe1Babe2 Youtube channel is now having the 70 yr old dad play Sekiro. Painful to watch at times as he bumbles along but it's quite impressive how he's starting to get the deflect down. He just beat the general that leads in to the path down to the first serpent encounter in the latest episode.

I don’t need to come up with “enough”. If PlayStation has at least one exclusive that I want to play, then that justifies the purchase. Xbox doesn’t have one exclusive I am interested in

I saw them in the first tour after Frey died. They sucked. Henley sounded like arse. Frey’s kid was ok and Amy Grant’s husband simply didn’t fit.
I’d rather see an Eagles cover band for free in the local town center quad on a summer evening or pay to see a Joe Walsh solo show

for folks who can't consistently get a group of 3-4 folks together for a legacy type board game, get Gloomhaven on either PC or console. it's a great representation of the table top game, and a good format for it too because it would likely take 100+ hours to get through the campaign with the actual board game.
