re: Anyone else playing PowerWash Simulator 2?
Posted by VinegarStrokes on 1/16/26 at 10:33 am to BoomerandSooner
i've been playing Powerwash Simulator (the first one) on my iPhone the past few days.
The only thing keeping me from wasting away hours in bed and falling asleep after 3 AM is the fact that my forearms are absolutely killing me  It's a much more intense workout than jerking it.
Just finished a level where I had to clean a carousel that was in operation, so everything was spinning.

You haven’t lived until you’ve see a dragon running at full speed and then come to a dead stop as it slides on its shins. Would Sheridan shoehorn himself into a role as a Lannister?

I’ll say it since no one else on here has the balls to say it: 2025 was absolutely terrible for AAA games
It was a horrendous year for not only video games but movies as well.
I need to unpack some stuff here....
You think you need to have....balls....to type on a message board that you think it was a terrible year?
Also...who gives a shite whether the good games this year were AAA or not? I haven't been able to hit even half the games that were released in 2025 that are considered must plays.

It's ok to not like him...I don't like him either, but you are flat out wrong that "most people don't like him"
re: Finally got around to playing Hollow Knight
Posted by VinegarStrokes on 1/9/26 at 10:31 am to Drewbie
I felt that way when I first played Hollow Knight a couple of months ago. I finished it and started Prince of Persia Lost Crown and that now that one has easily surpassed Hollow Knight for me. I can appreciate the work put in by a small indie, but Ubisoft absolutely nailed the genre

re: Best One Season TV shows
Posted by VinegarStrokes on 12/19/25 at 2:35 pm to EPORE
I don't know if it was intended to be one season or if it was intended to be a limited series, but the HBO series The Night Of was really good. It came out in that Serial/Making a Murderer hay day but I enjoyed it.

this game needs more attention ... Says me who is just now picking it up lol.
I've never been a big metroidvania / 2D platformer in my adult age. Obviously played a lot of it growing up with the NES/SNES, but once 3D games hit the ground running I left the 2D stuff behind. Starting to get into them though having just played the first hollow knight. Since then I've been dabbling in Blasphemous, Dead Cells, and now The Lost Crown. The Last Crown grabbed my attention the quickest of those 3 so I'll stick with it until I finish before moving on to one of the others.
This game is fricking great and the puzzles/platforming/combat is very deep and challenging but not frustratingly so. I have been stuck for a bit in the Sacred Archives and haven't been able to get through a few areas, so I finally looked up what I need to do and apparently I need to go back to the sewers/depths to get something. I ventured in there and noped out real quick after I was getting manhandled by some poison bugs.

re: Which was the better overall product: Cubs/Sox on WGN or Braves on TBS?

I vote for TBS because the Cubs used to interfere with the after school watching of Saved by the Bell

Agreed. i was really hoping that the last attempt at a TMNT franchise would work out. It seemed like they were leaning into the cartoon characters quite a bit....but the movies were just so damned bad.

I'll watch this for sure, just like I'd watch the shite out of Spencer fricking shite up in Africa. That'd be a instant hit, especially with the ladies if the sounds my wife makes anytime the dude was on screen is any indication.

Every year millions and millions of kids just turn old enough (5-10 year olds) start to get into video games and the first game they get is either Minecraft, Roblox or both.
This right here.
Not to mention that my household (because me and the wife are idiots) have done the following:
1. bought Minecraft for Nintendo Switch
2. bought Minecraft for PC because the kids now have laptops (Chromebooks)
3. bought Minecraft for their Chromebooks because we aren't computer gamers and didn't realize that Chromebooks and PC had different requirements (this I have not checked up on. My wife handled the purchasing of PC and Chromebook Minecraft because I had no desire to get involved since I bought the switch version first)
