Waiver weekly reset- question

Does your league reset the waiver priority every week? Is this a common thing to do? Just noticed for the first time as I didn't make any moves last week for the sole purpose of moving up higher on the wire, but now I'm back towards the end of the line again this week.

I've seen it before but don't play in any leagues that do that. It resets based on standings, correct?
It's not unheard of but I think it's dumb, especially early in the season. Who's to say a 1-2 team is really worse than a 2-1 team at this point, but they get a much better priority? Lame.

In my dynasty league, yes. But it is also a FAAB league. The waiver priority is set to determine tie breakers on bids.
Last place team gets Waiver 1, first place team gets Waiver 14.
Last place team gets Waiver 1, first place team gets Waiver 14.

How does that work in FAAB? Priority comes into play when teams bid the same amount on a guy?

Noticed something similar.
I don’t think you can change the setting in ESPN once it is set either but it’s basically penalizing patient/good teams for not jumping ship every week. Dislike it.

Yep that's right. I never noticed before this week, as it just so happens a few of the active wavier guys are on the bottom of the standings right now.

Mine does. It pretty much sucks. I dont mind as much since we have unlimited moves. I just try to predict the hot hand going into the games rather than after.
