Trying to get 4 for my team. Kids wanted Adidas last year, but this year I'm thinking maybe the Select Royale

Never been a fan of Adidas, or for that matter, Baden soccer balls.
I once bought an authentic Premier League ball (Nike). There's no going back after that. It's a huge difference in feel/texture/playability compared to a $20-$50 ball.

Yeah, we can't really afford to get the authentic match ball. We have a budget of $250 and we need to get at least 3 balls.

That's honestly completely understandable.
I would just stay away from Adidas. I feel like every ball I've gotten from them goes goes flat really quickly compared to other brands. May just be me though

That's why I'm getting new match balls this year. Didn't love the Adidas ones from last year. I was a fan of the Select balls in the past, but haven't used one in a while. Any recent experience?

Had a Nike Ordem 4 that I got at Marshall’s for $50...then it got stolen.
Select makes a good ball. The Brilliant Super/Derbystar is consistently rated the best match ball on the market.

We used Select balls for my club team and I loved them. I just bought 4 of the one I posted. Will report back.

That’s the one I had! Marshall’s had two of them so I bought them both with the intent of flipping one. Ended up just selling it to a friend.
