They care about one thing:
ORANGE MAN BAD
Why? Because he has exposed the new aristocracy as a bunch of vapid, worthless trash...and to be honest a large contingent of the left loves to have a "superior" class to look up to and revere, hence their love of socialism.
The fact he has made their new aristocrats look bad and has angered the human garbage that thinks they're "fighting" fascism in the name of their "betters"
It would be sad if it wasn't so pathetic.

Not sure if I agree with your why, but the generality of your statement is true. Most on the left will start with the premise, orange man bad, then work to their conclusions on any given issue from there.
