F King and the BOS vs LSU compliance department

I thought I heard on AFR that Wade's camp was going to meet w/ some combination of Aleva/King/BOS members last week, but the meeting was killed by LSU compliance who wanted to attend and have the NCAA attend. First of all, is that accurate? Second, if so, is King and the Board beholden to the compliance department? Do they have that much clout?

Only weak executives allow their compliance departments to drag them around by the nose and use them as CYAs because you manage scared.
