Hello,
I would like to have some informations about the chamber of a gun.
Im about to buy the A400 xtrem plus, and it comes only with 89 chamber, but the problem is that in my country only 70mm shells are availble. My questions are :

1* What could happen, if i shoot a 70 shell (slug or bird) in a 89 mm chambred gun?does it hurt the barrel?

2* I would use the gun for every thing, so can i shoot a slug 70m shell (for deers or boar) in the 89mm chamber?

3* Will beretta make a slug barrel for this version?

Thanks

Shotguns chambered in 89mm (3.5") will shoot 70mm (2.75"), 76mm (3") and 89mm (3.5").

I'm not sure if they'll make a slug barrel for it, but I am sure you can buy a rifled choke tube for it which will help with slug accuracy from a smooth bore barrel.

Carson may be able to answer the barrel questions.

No issues here. A 3.5" gun (or 89mm in Europe) can shoot everything smaller with no issues

Yes, but make sure you buy rifled slugs since you will be shooting from a smooth bore barrel.

You would need a rifled barrel to shoot standard slugs

I'm not sure, I haven't seen one yet.
