WTF would the last 10 years look like with this offense?

Sorry I had to say it.
Or any type of offense besides what me put on the field every year.
As excited as I am about this season and the future, it makes me sick to think what might have been.
We would have been as dominant as bama.

I don’t know about all that, but we would’ve at least scored on them regularly.

I’m just happy to see the killer instinct installed into this offense... it’s time to roll up on other teams and not play to lose... hope it continues...

At the least, we would’ve been a part of the Clemson/Alabama/Ohio State/Oklahoma circle of success. Anything other than an offense straight out of 1974 and we would’ve been right up there with the rest of the programs who have comparable talent to us. We had some of the most talented college football players ever go to waste because we had to run it up the middle for 5 years straight with no deviation. It’s a sickening feeling

Right on with this one.......I have heard too many TV announcers for too many years talk about LSU as doing the least of any team with the athletes we always have had!! Leonard Fournette just asked essentially the same question - "How many yards could I have run for with this offense...."
Miles, as great as he is as a person, was stuck in Bo Schembechler and Woody Hayes basic run over them style of football.
Coach O is Da Man!!

It's sickening to think about how long some of us wished they would make the change to some version of this style of offense. Would never have happened on Les's watch, so better late than never.

Yep.
And I still love Les as a man.

We don't even know what this year looks like, and offenses from the last 10 years have scored similar points on probably 10 or more P5 opponents, maybe half of those SEC. (Probably a good topic for someone that has plenty time on their hands.)

Burrow is the only quarterback we have had recently who even could think about running this offense.

Atleast 2 more BCS Championship appearances. And alot more SEC championship appearances

It was just one game, and against a poor opponent.
If LSU can do the same against Texas, and tough SEC opponents, then ...

I cant disagree. But we paid Miles ALOT, ALOTTTA MONEY. To drag us back to average.

Yes, but.
With this type of offense, recruiting would have been different.
I can see many QB’s wanting to come to LSU now.
Not to mention OL (they don’t have to try to run through a brick wall every play) and TE’s.
RB and WR have never been a problem, but I think this opens up RB recruiting also.
No more loading up the box every play.

We would have won the NC in 2011, 2012, 2014, and possibly 2017 and would have kept all games against Bama much closer.
We also wouldn’t have lost to Troy.

Jan 2012 Les Miles allowed the bama domination to begin. With an offense like this I believe we win that game and Les doesn't lose ground in Louisiana. What ifs are useless, lets say, what will be done, not what has been done.

Love the new look. But let’s be honest...JJ, Lee, Brandon Harris, Anthony Jennings don’t run it as well as Burrow did the other night.
