Man what is up with Lattimore

Where’s the explosiveness and fluidity he showed his first year? He got absolutely cooked by kupp and cooks man he doesn’t look like the shut down corner we need him to be our secondary is already bad enough Lattimore has to play better then this

He doesn’t work hard in the offseason and it takes a few games, he sucked but then was money after a few games last year. Year 1 he worked hard to improve his draft stock all off season.

I was hearing how he’s acruallt working hard this offseason and battling Thomas in camp he shouldn’t be looking this lost. Other young dbs like Jaire Alexander have been progressing just frustrating we’re not seeing the same progression out of Lattimore

He wasn’t right there with cooper kupp man tired of all these excuses for Lattimore he has been getting worked when guarding number 1’s why do ppl get crucified on this sub for saying Lattimore has been on the decline since his rookie year that’s straight facts he doesn’t have the same explosiveness and fluidity. He has the talent but he simply hasn’t looked like a number 1 corner

The simple answer is Dennis Allen is an average DC who does not put our players in position to succeed.

The only pass he really got burnt on was the Kupp big play. Kupp fooled the shite out of him, plain as day. Cooks beat him, but Latt was there in decent coverage. Especially the 56 yarder, people acting like Cooks isn’t known for his speed and that wasn’t a perfect pass from Goff. Last week was Hopkins, arguably the best WR in the league.
Why does it take Dennis Allen 2 games every year to get to know his defense?
My bigger concerns are the safeties. Williams made an INT last week, but that’s the only play he’s been around, and he seems scared to tackle. Bell, a lot of people on here talked him up all offseason but why? Has he had even 1 pass defense in his career yet? At this point he’s similar to Roman Harper, good in the box but liability in coverage
