What a fricking reach.

For all the complaining about how "the media" misrepresents things that your boy does, you guys are pretty good at that shite in your own right.

I have to agree. Vanguard funds were super popular and held stock in hundreds of companies. This is fake news, and I am an Always Trumper.

Socialist always capitalize on human life...it's their form of capitalism. Money is only bad when others make and she doesn't...

Wow, conservatives being honest and having integrity. This isn't the first time either.

Something I've NEVER seen a liberal do on here.

Ayn Rand described the Socialist methods as the Aristocracy of Pull

There are two ways by which rewards can be allocated in a society: status or achievement. Although no society relies solely on one way, the weight placed on one side or the other has profound consequences.
Not only for economic growth, but for politics as well.

Societies that place too much emphasis on status will stagnate, or grow slowly, and will often be regarded as unjust, despite the efforts of many in the system to claim precisely the contrary.
Political instability will be more likely than stability, and order will be achieved only through attempts at rigid control, often failing in the long run.

It 100% is a huge reach

And yet, where did conservatives learn this SPECIFIC reach from?

That's right. From you assholes.

As far as the amount of stretch from reality to the claim/reaction, yeah.

Obviously these two examples are not comparable as far as severity, though.

I don't mind anyone investing...but don't be a hypocrite. Just thank capitalism for the ability to create the wealth without a government (like she desires) stopping you from doing it.

Everyone with a retirement account invests in generic mutual funds.

But Trump could easily say “She invested in private prisons!” and not be lying. Then Warren would have to explain what a mutual fund is and Trump would win that round.

I'm making a mental note that ShortyRob is a-OK with hypocritical behavior. (BTW so am I, and I'm honest about it).

The article explains it quite well.

She has a retirement account, like most working people. That retirement account included mutual funds, like they all do. And those mutual funds spread money across a wide basket of companies, and those investments change all the time.

Probably less than 1% of all people with a retirement account know every company they are invested in. That is the purpose of these accounts, to let someone else handle that for you.

Further, the article mentions that she sold her stake in that particular fund 6 years ago.

Does that explain it for you?

Actually, make better notes.

I think this type of reach is stupid and, frankly, not beneficial. Were I in charge of publicizing that silly story, I've had nixed it.

But, you frickers have been running that EXACT reach for DECADES!

So, frankly, the ONLY people with a right to say jack shite on this reach are US.
