What’s your number of nukes they can have before you want to intervene.

Soooo….
Iran has not pursued nuclear weapons?
Iran doesn’t finance terrorism?
Iran doesn’t call us the Grear Satan, and kill our citizens and soldiers?
Iran doesn’t function in the axis of evil (Russia, China, N Korea, Cuba, and post raided Venezuela?
Guess the number one threat to globalization is today. Donald J Trump.
There is a push for government control the world over. This is especially true in former and current communist countries like Russia, China, Cuba, etc. It’s also prevalent in socialist societies like the EU, Venezuela, Canada, and the Democratic Party.
The government is controlled by the powerful including the old money Banks, Ivy League Colleges, Industrialist, etc., new billionaire money Jobs, Bezos, and Zuckerberg, the bad boys of that group are Trump and Musk because they don’t play well with others, the new millionaire politicians like the Clintons, Obamas, Bushes, Bidens etc.
But the conspiracy theorists have to oversimplify it because they have to keep it simple because their stupid.
The main conspiracy simplified is the Jews control the money, the money controls the oligarchy (aristocracy, politicians, businessmen, entertainers, religious, etc.), and the oligarchs control the common people.
And to some extent it’s true. But it’s not the truth.

The majority of Iranians hate their government.

The changes since that statement include an increase of unmarried white women who vote D as a husband substitute, industrial union workers who realize that the Ds aren’t their home anymore, illegals voting D, black men beginning to understand that Ds and black women do not respect them, and men of all races beginning to understand that the D’s emotional governance fails, and they are searching the Rs for an intellectually rational home.

3 weeks ago the qb and o line were critically horrible. Complaining was actually a true reflection of reality.
3 weeks later reality has changed, and celebration is in order.
Makes sense to me.

Posted by Gaspergou202 on 1/18/26 at 9:58 am to stout
When Canada decided to go “elbows up” and boycott American products like whiskey, I decided to boycott them.
I always check national origin of things I purchase to avoid China whenever possible. Now I add Canada.
Know what? The only Canadian product I purchased regularly purchased was Brunswick canned fish. Now I buy from Alaska, Poland, N Africa, and SE Asia.
I wish I could go more elbows up!

re: Can someone briefly explain Ole Miss’ latest whining?

Ole Miss justifiably has the red arse about LSU stealing the best coach they’ve had in their lifetimes.
But instead of standing up and dusting themselves off; they have decided to get emotional and fill themselves with LSU hate and spite.
They will now reject accountability, and blame every negative thing on Kiffin for the next 50 years.

re: 70% Of Americans Don’t Want Us To Intervene In Iran
Posted by Gaspergou202 on 1/15/26 at 6:09 pm to LuckyTiger
I don’t want Americans fighting and dying in and for Iranians in the hundreds.
But that hasn’t happened in Gaza or Venezuela. And we can support anti Islamist Iranians without paying a high blood price.
The world with diminished socialist/communist and Islamo Terrorism from the defeat of Venezuela, the Iranian mullahs and Islamic Revolutionary Guard, and Hamas in Gaza is a better world for my children and grandchildren. I support that. A conventional toothless Russia and economically weakened China is also good.

re: Share some strange history about your state

The first cocktail, the Sazerac, was invented in New Orleans.
The evolution of the Sazerac began with Antoine Amédée Peychaud, a Haitian-born apothecary who migrated to New Orleans sometime during the Haitian Revolution. Peychaud opened up his own drug store around the end of the 1830s (the exact year is up for debate), where he sold his own bitters to an eager client base. He also mixed his signature product with brandy in an egg-shaped cup called coquetier, a name that is often falsely attributed to the etymology of the word cocktail.
New York and London both try to claim to be first, but we know better!

Western Canada needs to free itself from the dying corpse of socialist Ontario and Quebec. Canada has been on a slow socialist decline for over a decade. Their downfall will accelerate after the “elbows up” negotiation style causes more tariffs this year.
Whether they form independent nations, band together, or join the U.S. is unimportant at this time. Separation is essential for their wellbeing!
