James Connor injury rumors

Reports that it may be a collarbone. Samuels has a recent knee injury. Both him and Snell are available in my league. Are either worth a bench spot? I’d have to drop Mattison who I’ve had on my bench as a D. Cook handcuff.

Samuels is the pickup. Idk if I'd drop mattison for him though

I'm in the same predicament you are. Good news is last night Mike Tomlin said it was an AC joint issue. By him saying that I'm assuming they ran x-rays at the stadium and determined there was no fracture. If it's an AC issue he won't be out long and it's possible he could play this week. It would be more about pain tolerance. But if it's a broken clavicle he's done for the year. Btw if Conner is done for the year I'm going to pick up Samuels. He played well last year when Conner was hurt.

How much FAAB would you spend on Samuels? I havent had to make many moves this season so I have the most in my budget remaining, so he's mine if I truly want him.
The next largest budget is $79, I have $94. If Connor is out for the season Samuels has to be an RB1/high end RB2 for the remainder of the season, right? Do I spend $80 to ensure I get him?

Connor probably won’t be out at all. At most he might miss this week.
That being said he is made of glass and right now samuels would be a solid handcuff to stash.

Yeah, if Conner is out indefinitely I think this is the biggest add of the season so far. No reason to hold back. Just hope we get more definitive news before waivers clear. Samuels needs to be added either way, just have no idea what the bid should be if we don't hear any more on Conner

This is exactly my concern.
But I always end up with tons of leftover FAAB money every season. Screw it. Go big or go home.

James Conner owner here too. What would be a better pickup at this point, Samuels or Walton from MIA?
I think samuels has more upside, but Walton is likely the starter for the rest of the season, while Conner may not miss any time at all and picking up Williams would be a waste of a top waiver spot
