Yesterday I ordered parts online from CARid. The parts totaled less than 300 bucks. Went to checkout and shipping was 545 bucks. What a ripoff. Thanks but no thanks.

Axles and engines are heavy and cost a lot to ship.

Was what you bought heavy/bulky enough to require LTL shipment?

RockAuto is my go-to for car parts and they are usually half of what it costs at AutoZone. Otherwise I have found some decent deals through Amazon or eBay where the shipping is included.

No. Two side skirts which weighs probably 5 pounds each.

You are doing it wrong. Most places offer free shipping over a certain dollar amount. My dad bought his Weber grill online and it was delivered for free.

What are you looking for? Certi-Fit, in St. Rose, has a ton of car parts for cheap.
