The tallest woman in the world is “only” 7’ tall. Not sure what the deal is with the chick.

ETA okay, that’s going by Guinness standards. I guess there’s a chance she hasn’t put herself in the running, but I imagine its hard to become a 7’ tall woman without a severe genetic issue.
100% chance these parents will have air horns at his high school graduation, and will blast them so obnoxiously long that the next 5 graduates’ names won’t be heard.
Will they only test emissions if you live in the five parish area? Or is it still a full inspection? I’m tired of needing to replace windshields annually to pass inspection because rocks manage to frick up one of our cars. I’m at the trashy point in my life where I’ll just roll with a crack.

Do you have insider info, or something? Why would he abandon the truck/kid if they’re his.
News is starting to report that the truck has been recovered and the baby is okay.

Jesus, that's awful. I think of this every time I see a vehicle running unattended in a parking lot with a child in it. This isn't the time nor place for this discussion, but what parent does this?

Agree. Even when I’m pumping gas, I take the keys out of the car and lock it. Maybe overkill, but I’ll be damned if someone is going to sneak into my car from the passenger side or overpower me on the driver side and take off with my kids.

Kiran is reporting that the baby was in a truck that was stolen at a gas station. My nightmare.
I tried to leave out pronouns so people could assume it was from a guy. I think I messed up by giving specifics
2.5 days. Arrived in labor around 2:00a on a Thursday. Uncomplicated delivery at 3:00p. Discharged Saturday afternoon.
In 2014, Baton Rouge was in the top 5  Shreveport & Houma also made the top 10.

Y'all sure are quick to condemn her without knowing the whole story.

There is zero excuse to abandon three kids.
My husband absolutely refuses to reuse towels. I’d be okay with it, but go with single use now. If he sees a towel hanging to dry, he throws it in the hamper.

Considering there are four of us in the house and he regularly showers twice a day, I wash so many freaking towels every week.
No shout out for the singing pubes?
I’m not saying UFOs don’t exist, but I’m sure they wouldn’t have only landed in the US. How has every country managed to band together and agree to keep these encounters top secret for so many years?
From WAFB:

quote:

One person is in custody hours after a shooting at a church gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 22, according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Lee Andrew Johnson, 51, will be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. His charges have not been released yet.

The fact that a 51 year old apparently did this is wild.

His ex is supposedly saying it’s not true and his family is trying to have him committed (picture taken from Facebook). I don’t know who any of these people are, but it’s amusing.

One thing I will point out.. we’re only seeing one side of this story. Because most have 3… The alleged victim, then the alleged perp and finally the actual truth

There’s literally no side that will justify him acting that way with his kids in the car. I don’t care if Marlon whipped out his junk before the cameras started rolling. You don’t do any of that with your kids present.

Hearing a child scream in pure terror as their parent is involved in a (physical) altercation is one of the worst, most heartbreaking sounds in the world.

I hate to use the word “triggered” but damn, that scream unlocked memories. Having a drunk dad who goes into irrational vigilante mode is a level of hell I wouldn’t wish on anybody. The helplessness you feel as that kid is a nightmare.

I hope his wife uses this as the final straw to GTFO of that marriage.

Oh yes they can tell. A competent jeweler can absolutely tell if there are no inclusions in a diamond, which is suspicious af if it's large and the person bringing it in isn't an OT baller.

Yes, they can suspect, but not every lab diamond is D-E/IF. To confirm, they’d have to have specialized equipment to look for growth patterns, etc.

I’m sure their suspicions are more accurate than not now that labs are ubiquitous  but it isn’t as simple as some of the “lab diamonds are not real diamonds” guys in this thread seem to believe.

and light refracts differently

Where have you seen this? Everything I’m finding says lab diamonds have identical refraction to mined. Diamond stimulants like moissanite have different levels of refraction, but I’m not finding anything saying the same for lab diamonds.
