The what have you done for me lately dilemma - LSU fans and recruiting

I'm sure coach O and his staff calculate the consequences of dropping recruits and weigh the benefits. In watching this staff and the way they interact with the players, I'm confident it's a very hard decision to cut ties with any of the recruits they've invested time in.
What we forget, is his career trajectory and length depend on winning in a very competitive conference and an extremely demanding fan base. I can't help but think many of the same people on this site continually saying he "dropped the ball" in this recruiting cycle, will be the same bashing him and wanting his head on a plate if he kept the original kids and didn't win.
I trust he and his staff to do what it takes to be successful and continue the momentum of this year. We need to remember, we're competing against Bama, Georgia, Clemson which between the 3 have 6 of the last 8 national champions, 8 of the last SEC champions and a lot of skins on the wall.
We had a great season and it will pay dividends but it will take time. Just stay on the wagon and enjoy the ride because it will be fun.

The class is fine. Stop making stupid fricking threads like this.

In looking at your past post you have very little creditability to tell me anything. When you start adding quality commentary to the board, I may take you're comments serious. Also if you think people aren't questioning our coaching staffs recruiting decisions, you haven't been ready this board.

Will do. Thanks for the advice.

We missed on a couple but we always do. I think the gamble was worth it in the long run.
We still signed exceptional players and will add more in February. Any way you put it, this class is stacked.
OL depth, DL depth and LB depth is fantastic now. And next year's WR haul may be the best in a generation, or better. I love this class overall.
