I see some listed for around 800-900 on ticket brokers sites. Is this about best prices will get or will is fall as it gets closer, or rose even more? Thanks for any advice.

If Tiger is healthy and looks like he has been recently, expect prices to rise as it gets closer.

You can only scan a ticket twice this year which is leading to companies/groups having to buy a larger amount of tickets.
Many times a single practice round used to get passed off 3 sometimes 4 times a day.

What does that even mean? People go into the Masters practice round, leave in a few hours, then give it to some one else to use?

You seem to understand pretty well. Does that amaze you?

Honestly surprised that they allowed this to take place.

Honestly, I am not. The day we went they shut the course down mid morning because of rain and opened up mid afternoon. You did not need a ticket to get in. It was odd.

Maybe they figured out that the practice round attendees are typically first time visitors and will spend several hundred in the gift shop.

I suspect more rain was in the forecast and they just wanted to open it back up during a small window to ensure everyone could go to the proshop to get their fill of Masters memorabilia.

I don't think it is a "ANGC lets people do this." It just happens. A lot of corporate events do half day passes for clients. Guys will play golf in the morning and go to the tournament in the afternoon, while the other half goes to the tournament and then plays golf.

There is an entire secondary market that should not exist pursuant to ANGC's rules, but it does.
