One more ride for Tom Brady in New England, then nothing promised

Gillette has never really known a quarterback other than Tom Brady. There was one year Matt Cassel filled in due to a Brady knee injury, but otherwise it has been Tom’s playground, especially on dark January nights like Saturday when his Patriots host Tennessee in the AFC wild-card round.

It also might be Brady’s last game amid the tall pines of Foxborough.

If the Patriots can get past the Titans, they’ll travel to Kansas City, where they’d have to upset the Chiefs and then enjoy a slew of upsets for the AFC championship game to return to Foxborough.

After that is anyone’s guess. The 42-year-old is a free agent at season’s end, which means he may retire or choose to leave the only franchise he has ever known. Or he could, perhaps, return for another shot, too.

Perhaps not even Brady knows for sure.

Make sure to tune in. This could be the last time we ever see him

His decline has been rapid, as is usually the case when it happens with guys his age.

Derek Carr to Saints
Drew to Chargers
Tom Brady to Raiders

Life comes and goes full circle.

i wonder if teddy would do well there

he has shown good talent and ability to be a safe game manager that wont lose games for you and he should come at a great discount since he isnt the hottest new thing in QBs

A slew? Since when does 1 equal a slew? If they beat KC, Baltimore has to lose. Then they'd host Houston or Buffalo. Pretty simple.

Who said anything about thinking that would happen. I was simply pointing out a severe exaggeration on the part of the author of the article.

It's so sad. I have a hard time believing the good Lord would allow New England to lose tomorrow night.
