Two little millineal bitches approached me today wanting to ‘work from home’ until all this blows over. I know ‘working from home’ to them means paid vacation.
HR is looking into it since there may be legal liabilities involved saying no......smh....
GROW UP AND GET TO WORK!!!!

That is the funniest shite I have ever heard. That shite would never fly where I work.

They would both be working from home real soon. Working to get that resume polished up.

You poor baby. Your workers (who you obviously treat with respect and regard) aren’t willing to risk their health/lives so you can look over their shoulder all day? They sound awful....

Enjoy schlepping to the office while they chill at home with pay for the next three months.

The OP needs to at least tell us his industry so we can make fun of him properly.

This is the most ridiculous part of the whole thing.

I had to stay two hours past my normal time today dealing with HR on the issue and now sitting in shite traffic. One of these little shits has only been with the company for five months.
How bout making a good impression as opposed to already scheming your way out of shite.

You didn’t have to- if they can work from home, why not let them? We don’t know jack about this infection, other than it’s very transmissible. Personally, risk aversion, positive self regard, and concern for more vulnerable workers (health wise) would make an extremely good impression on me. Of course, I’m smart enough to do what I can to avoid a novel virus with a high hospitalization/death rate.

Yeah it’s no big deal. It’s just wiping out entire nursing homes and causing countries to quarantine entire cities. What’s really important is that your company’s owner’s maximize efficiency to generate max profit, and for you to have as easy of a job as possible without having to address real issues like “global pandemics.”

If I was able to do 100% of my job from the comfort of my home during an outbreak, it wouldn’t hurt to ask to work from home.

I don't think I would have survived the Ebola and West Nile outbreak if I didn't work from home during those times of crisis

Can your work be done from home or are you just bitter that they don’t want to be part of an archaic need to have a physical office?
Posted on 3/4/20 at 5:57 pm to BabyTac
Does it really matter if they spend half the day drinking coffee and pooping at home or the office?

Millennial here who works from home 2-3 days a week.
This is 2020. What do you people do you actually have to be in an office?

My last job I could completely do from home and did for stretches. I would absolutely consider it.
My current job would not work as well from home... and I work at a hospital. It's been nice knowing you all.
