Who would you guys rather have a rematch with LSU or Florida? if you can choose one, and why ? Just curious at who is more hated in Buckeye country.

Florida. Their fans showed no class. LSU fans showed tons of class and made me and I'm sure many other Buckeye fans very welcome in New Orleans.

Plus I'm still bitter about the 2007 game with Florida. With all the talent we had, to get beat by that many killed me. I didn't even expect OSU to win the Big Ten Championship last year. Making it to the National Championship was just icing on the cake to a season I didn't expect.

:) Interesting to know most of our fans behave ourselves. However, I gotta ask, and I am not trying to goad you or anything, but as an Ohio fan, did it gall you guys to see Michigan lay the beat down on Florida like they did? Or did you guys cheer for a Big Ten victory?

Again no disrespect meant.

Yeah, as much as I hate Michigan it was good to see them beat Florida.

BTW, to anyone that watched the 4th quarter of that game it WAS a beatdown. Tebow got pounded in the 4th quarter of that game like he's never been pounded before.

Georgia hit him at least that hard; except for it was an entire game.

I'd say FLA because we never showed up, except for Ginn. He was rewarded with a broken ankle for his efforts. That team was much better than they played that night.

LSU, well, nobody expected it to happen after Illi. It never should have happened...except among other events, DickRod couldn't beat his arch rival in the final game. Look for that trend to continue!

I considered it a Michigan domination just because of the fact Mr. Never Fumble Mike Hart fumbled twice inside the 5. If that didn't happen they win by 3 scores.

I didn't care who won. While I hate both, it was cool to see the Big Ten gain some respect, watching Carr go out with a win, and watching Mike Hart (I've never hated a Michigan player more) fumble twice inside the 5.

I couldn't agree more. Laurinaitis was the only one who looked like he wanted to be there in my opinion. Everyone else looked too calm for such a big game. Our coaches didn't show up as well. Heacock had the defense in a damn prevent the whole game.

Doesn't matter as long as it's the BCS NCG.

You guys still have to prove you can beat a mobile QB this year when you play the Illini in Champaign. Plus going to LA and playing USC is going to be pretty ugly. Gosh one can only hope they lose to USC early on and then possibly lose to either Wisconsin or the Illini on the road. One loss and they might make the title game again, two should keep them out.

It was a beat down considering they were trying to give the game away. Just like how LSU pretty much gave alabama the game away but snatch it back at the last second.

Just curious...were you in Glendale for our game? Most Gators, including myself, feel you guys were the most obnoxious and arrogant group we've ever encountered before. As a whole...not everyone obviously.

Also, you guys at least outside the stadium outnumbered us a good 10-1. Inside, it was more like 60% OSU, 40% Florida...at lot of Buckeyes never made it in. Now, I'll admit AFTER the game on your message boards we harrassed you guys to no end. I think part of that was due to how we felt we were treated before the game. I honestly believe LSU got a very tamed down version of OSU fans for NC game between you guys. This was probably due to what happened the year before. I can also say that in Atlanta for the Final 4, you guys kept a low profile too. That being said, Glendale was bad...before the game.

Definitely Florida. My Aunt/Uncle go to all bowl games. They love to talk/tailgate with opposing fans and get to know them alittle. They said Florida fans were just nasty the whole time they were in Glendale.

They were in NO(as was I) and the Tiger fans were great. We had no complaints.
With Florida, we also lost in basketball(twice). Add to that the fact that we had too much talent to play that badly in 06 and you've got to go with Florida.

I would love to get a home/home with LSU though

Yes I was. And how we conversated with Gator fans before the game wasn't even close to the LSU fans. Even on the way back to the airport the day after the LSU loss. Our tour guide asked the bus which fans we enjoyed more and I didn't hear one person say Florida fans. Then people went on to mention how arrogant and rude Florida fans were.

The year before didn't affect me or any of the other Buckeye fans I was with on Bourbon Street. We would start chants, trash talk with LSU fans, then go up and have a friendly conversation with them afterwards. Florida fans took the trash talking way too serious and would shout out the most arrogant remarks back.

Even after the game as I was walking down the ramp. LSU fans would come up to us and say good game, I hoped you enjoyed New Orleans, hope to play you guys again in the future, etc. I won't even mention what Florida fans were saying to us after the game.
