re: The NCAA is ridiculous

It was nice to see someone at ESPN call NCAA out of this. The NCAA as a ruling body is a joke. I agree with May, it were arkansas and not tOSU, you bet they would be sitting them out for the Sugar Bowl.

Crazy talk. What about Aub?

Gratz LSU Nation - pretty entertaining as usual!

A bust? Yes. Biggest ever? Lol hell no.

You guys ever heard of Ki-Jana Carter?

At least you could argue that injury killed Ki-J as opposed to those incredible In-N-Out burgers.

They took out Troy Smith as well.

OK - That's much better. My bad - I been away a while.

David Toms is in fifth place at the PGA Championship. He is playing really well. I sure hope he will seriously contend this weekend. Great to see a former tiger doing well

I watched Toms win the Accenture a few years ago at La Costa. He's a class act. Stayed at the final green and chatted with fans, signed autographs. Really nice to see compared with some other pro's that minimize any fan interaction.

In the past, the TV exposure and the national recognition of the Michigans, Ohio States and Notre Dames of the world allowed them to recruit talent out of the South to supplement the talent pool from the kids in the Midwest. Now, those kids in the South can get the same level of exposure and play for championships without having to leave the SEC.

Well stated. Now, for some facts...

Carlos Hyde Naples (FL) Naples

Michael Brewster Orlando (FL) Edgewater

Travis Howard Miami (FL) Dr. Krop

Etienne Sabino Miami (FL) Dr. Krop

Duron Carter Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas

Is that South enough for you SEC?

“I can only tell you that LSU is no stepping stone for anything,” Miles said. “LSU is a destination. And this is a wonderful place. It has everything, from the school, the city, the football team, the recruiting areas that are close by (that) the quality athlete would be attracted to. The weather. It’s significantly different than the Midwest. This is a wonderful place. There’s no reason for people to leave. This football program is in great shape and I want to be here for a long time.”

That said, I want a clause in my contract to let me go to scUM. K?

No more overrated than a Florida with a crappy and injury ridden defense, or an overhyped USC or Georgia team, not to mention Ohio St. which can't hasn't won a big game outside of their own conference in like forever.

Dude - Everyone can't be overated. You want to see Clemson #1?

i think after some of the things that came out of his mouth last year...they had to get rid of him

The way the dude talks, there is a ton of sh!t in his mouth. More should come out, IMHO.

Dawgs should be No. 1. The whine factor nudges them to the top of the list.

That along with the team-wide end-zone celebration crap that never should have happened, IMHO. Yes it worked, but no class.

Most likely a backwards and shy sort of fellow that you might find in the hill country. Not the sort to talk smack to a stranger in a gas station.

Anyway - The rest of us are looking forward to this game, and all the others.

I think App St will play tough. LSU will be ready. Meatchicken ignored them. Les will not, and can thank Meatchicken for the warning.

An excellent question to ponder as you travel to the Outback Bowl. I do love those steaks.

I went there three times while at LSU, and it sucked my balls. The Grove is a joke. It's just a crowded parade grounds with trees. People don't share anything, and when you offer white beans, sausage, or drinks they turn up their preppy noses.

Dude, getting your balls sucked is usually a good thing.

Wow! Gratz to Ohio U for making the list! That is one killer Halloween party, I sh!t you not. Still surprised to see them on the list, because these typically degrade to a popularity contest.

San Diego State (long shot I know) but I dig the City and the University. If I'm not mistaken Marshall Faulk played there.

:dude:

Nice post!

Should say "Not safe for wife"

For me, I'd have to say it's 9/20/86 Miami of Ohio game. I'm from that area, and it was sweet to see the MAC have a significant W.

Except that they embarrassed the conference by losing to Michigan....

Yo! I thought that game was stricken from the record in SEC land. Never happened...

Just kiddin - I know you're not all SEC Homers!

I been away a while. I know I'm gonna get beat down good for this by the germans, but WTF is Cosmo doing posting as a Duck fan?

I'd say FLA because we never showed up, except for Ginn. He was rewarded with a broken ankle for his efforts. That team was much better than they played that night.

LSU, well, nobody expected it to happen after Illi. It never should have happened...except among other events, DickRod couldn't beat his arch rival in the final game. Look for that trend to continue!

Chris Carter, except I thought he would be an NBA star at the time. His big brother Butch was with Indy.
Does seem crazy that he would leave a superior program to go North, but who can truely understand the scUM mind?

As an OSU fan, I am hoping he makes the move!! Looking forward to writing Lles for his first OSU loss at UM.

LSU would be undefeated with a better game day coach, IMHO. You good LSU people deserve better!
What shocks me is that LSU fans would want Les to stay. You have all the talent in the world but some of the poorest game day coaching I've ever seen. As an OSU fan I was extremely disappointed Les was not moving North. He would be pwned for years IMHO and with foolish interviews and quotes to boot! Go Les Go!
