Mo Hampton injury?

Just read that Hampton is sidelined with “back problems,” and it is unknown when or if he will return for baseball. How could this affect his ability to play football?

Stress reaction in his back. Same injury as josh smith that caused him to miss a year. Hopefully this won’t affect football, but a bad back is one of the worst things for a safety who lays the lumber

Has anyone heard if this is a "pars defect" stress fracture?
My son has been dealing with this for a while now and I'm pretty sure that is what Smith had but never heard for sure.
If so, it is pretty painful and difficult to heal. Tons of rest is and core work can usually heal this injury.

More on Maurice Hampton Jr.'s back injury. Coach Paul Mainieri compared it to one former LSU shortstop Josh Smith had his sophomore year, which limited Smith to six games that season. Smith returned his junior year.

I have. They thought my son had it. He was a lineman in high school and the Dr said it happens alot to linemen due to the extension of the back when blocking, being pushed against

So you chose to post a thread rather than answering his question (so that it wasn't a repeat-I assume)!!! Then you repeat what The Pirate King posted 2 posts ahead of you. So you "one up" the OP like we all live on this board and supposed to keep up with it all, and then repeat a post that you should read before you post the tweet.
