Can't get through Odyssey, it feels dead compared to Origins even though they are basically the same game in terms of mechanics and systems. The world feels a little lifeless at times.
I don't know is it was the "exploring of Egypt" that pushed me in Origins or not, but something felt more interesting.

I have not played Origins, but my friends say its basically a less refined Odyssey.
I am loving Odyssey though. Just like any sandbox once you get through the first act and it really opens up it's a much better game.
The mythological aspect of Odyssey is what has intrigued me most.

While this is true, the world in Origins is full of more "life".
Both good games, with Origins/Odyssey being the only AC game I enjoyed outside of Black Flag.
