All is going well here. Except the rain shortly after planting potatoes. Not the stand I was wanting, but I'll be grateful for what did come up.
Everything is in...10 and a half 50' rows...
2 rows of potatoes
2 rows of tomatoes
1 row of peppers
4 half rows of corn
4 half rows of green beans
1 half row of watermelon
1 half row of cucumbers
1 half row of squash
I'm beat

2 packs at $4/pack vs. $1 per plant for 76 plants... I'm cheap :lol:
I will have three 50' rows of tomatoes and peppers. I'm not covering anything :lol:

Mine is 3/22, but if the weekend of, I don't see anything 10 days out, I'll take that calculated risk on transplanting.
Besides, most of what I start is from seed anyway. So it's practically no risk.

That's my plan for the weekend. And looks like 6" of rain right after planting potatoes didn't hurt. They're starting to break through.
For those just north of I-12...it is time.

You early guys irritate me...I just transplanted peppers and tomatoes. Won't get them in the garden until late March if weather cooperates.

Pepper seeds started 1/23, tomatoes started 2/2. Got everything planned, seeds purchased, garden layout planned.
