All weekend on every financial website there are articles on Covid spiking.

I'm getting multiple alerts per day of Covid spiking.

When you read the articles it's 1% increases or a few states had a slight increase in cases the past few days.

The Democrats do not want Trump to have the greatest economy in the history of the world going into election season. Their playbook knows no morals.

They don’t want him hosting rallies so they’re drumming up the news of a second wave to fear monger everyone.

This is the Money Board. Whoever gets elected will affect your money. MSM/Demwits overreacting about a slight increase in COVID will affect your money. COVID did not matter when large groups of protesters walked the streets. Once the protests die down, the MSM/Dimwits will continue their rants about a spike in COVID. They will call for a second shut down. This will tank the market and take years to recover.
This is their goal. They don't care about your money except how much of it they can take from you by raising your taxes.
The Money Board better watch what the political hand is doing. It will affect your money.

Just like I said in the original post. Covid is being blasted on every website about phase 2 and the market is down 700 points.

How long should we hold out on buying? Should we sell off and buy lower at a later date? Will the market be higher a week from now?

If you want to have an intelligent, well reasoned, thoughtful discussion about how politics will affect the economy, tax policy, etc, im sure everyone here would welcome that. But thats not the reason op came here as evidenced by the post. What he wants to do is regurgitate the same thousands of discussions that happen hourly in the poliboard conspiracy theory echo chamber about dumbocrapwits. There is a place for that, and it is called the poliboard.

Market historically goes up over time. If you want to be able to time the market...learn how to read charts, price action and such or give your money to a professional to manage.

With that said....we are approaching a major pivot...2940-2950 area on sp500...hoping it finds support for a nice bounce but who knows for sure.

You don't think politics have anything to do with the market?

Should they not report that cases are spiking in several states?
