The Ginty was one of the best club designs in golf history IMO.
In the days of presenmion woods, the Ginty was the "First Utility" club.
Imagine a wooden Heavenwood. The Ginty usually was a 5-6 wood loft with a heavy lead beveled keel sole plate to help cut threw the rough.
I played one for a few years, it worked great and would launch the ball high.
