I’ve played Kelly P numerous times and camp creek, should I check out the Raven this weekend or play elsewhere?

I like Raven and there is always a good deal on Golf Now. Play it
Just FYI I’ve heard Regatta Bay is primo right now

New greens are great I’m told, I’d play Regatta over Raven, if you want another nearby play Burnt Pine, it’s conditions can be comparable to Camp Creek without the drive depending upon where you are staying.

I think I'm going to play Regatta, hard to ignore all the praise

Heard Regatta wasn't in good shape. Told my buddy to come post his review, he just hasn't done it yet. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Really? Everything I've seen here and on golf now (recent reviews) says the course is in excellent shape tee to green

I think that's why my buddy played it while he was there.

Was in Destin last week and played Kelly and Regatta with my dad. He was deciding between Regatta and Indian Bayou. Between the threads on here and even the cart guys at Kelly telling us how good Regatta was, we decided on playing Regatta.
The layout is fine. Number 5 (par 5) has temp tees and we played it as a par 4. No big deal there but took away a good par 5.
We were both dissappointed in the greens. Obviously, they are new and firm. They were very grainy and slow.
This isn't the courses fault but it was about a 4 1/2 round due to a foursome two groups in front of us.
My dad went and played a third time at Indian Bayou and he text me after 4 holes blown away with the conditions of it. He said the greens were perfect.
My recommendation based on just being there would be Kelly, Indian Bayou, or the San Destin courses (minus Baytown).

damn oh well, I got a tee time for $57 at regatta, will let you know what I think of it this weekend

$57 is a heck of a rate. Hopefully you are able to play faster than we did. I think that played into us having such a miserable round.

Indian Bayou is the most underrated course in the gulf region. One of my favorites. A hidden gem

We played Indian Bayou last week. Think we got a rate of $84, but I'd say it was worth it. Greens and fairways were great. Wish I would have left my driver in the car though... It's a short course and demands a straight ball off the tee. Who knew there were so many damn pine trees in Florida?
Also did Fireball shots with an attractive cart girl, so there's that
