Did the same thing last year combo’ing Colonial and PGA Frisco. I got my round at East for free but really not sure i’d pay the greens fee otherwise. It ends up being like a 5 1/2 round regardless just because of the layout/everyone walking and nobody enforcing extra slow play. Fun experience but having played it already and knowing everything I’d likely play elsewhere for that price.

Pretty confident a few years back the only two BREC courses turning a profit were Santa Maria and Beaver Creek. Not sure if that’s changed now with the influx of even more new golfers.

A Butler Pitch & Putt style short course coupled with other park features sounds like a much better use of $ and space imo.

Bad look for the lady, but Deangelo is a huge loser too. Extremely obnoxious and thinks he’s a way bigger “celebrity” than what he actually is. Not surprising in him finding some open seats down low so he can continue to try and be the center of attention.

NLU had a good recap show discussing broadcast, thoughts, etc. Anyone saying it could take over traditional golf is clearly trolling though. Enjoyed alt shot portion and think it’ll improve over time as they work out audio, kinks, etc.
