New guys in the DL rotation

My favorite thing about college football is getting to see who the new guys are that will step up each year. Who will be in the DL rotation that we haven't seen much of yet? Livingston? Corley? Or are we set with the vets of Tyson Jackson, Kirston Pittman, Tremaine Johnson, and Rahim Alem at ends; and RJF, Charles Alexander, Drake Nevis, Marlon Favorite, and Al Woods at DT? That lineup might be too deep for any of the Freshmen to see much playing time barring injury.

+1
But just like last year, injuries occur quite often in the trenches. The depth on this line is r i d i c u l o u s.
BTW - How's it goin Hot Carl?

we've had a legacy of Tackles who are in the backfield almost immediately...Lavalais, Williams, Wroton, Dorsey, who's next? I would guess RJF, with Nevis on deck.

The line up sounds un-real. We are deep and should be great there. As everyone else, I hope for no injuries and lots of experience for each guy this season. Keeping them coming and reloading during the year.

i think Al Woods has a break out year and is starting in front of Favorite or Alexander by the end of the season.

Well according to many sports writers Al Woods has already been drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft even though he is probably our 5th best D-tackle (1. RJF 2. Drake Nevis 3. assuming he comes back healthy Charles Alexander 4. Big Fav 5. Al Woods)

OK, here's my two deep
Strong End - Tyson Jackson, Tremain Johnson
Weak End - Kirston Pittman, Rahim Alem
3 tech - Charles Alexander, Marlon Favorite
1 tech - RJF, Al Woods
I really want to throw Drake Nevis in there but where.......? Then what the F--- Livingston and Corley. I have no idea where to put them. When Davenport gets here and hopefully McFarland why not just redshirt and let them go nuts with Moffit for a year then unleash them on the world.

True. I think we can afford one more at DT than DE, though. I think the DT depth is a little more talented.

I'd love to, but which one of the senior DEs is he gonna take playing time away from? By the way, 3 of our top 4 DEs are seniors, and one is a Junior. Should be a completely different look in '09.

Drake Nevis is going to be an absolute beast, it will be hard to keep him out of the rotation for long. I think it's do or die time for Al Woods. If he doesn't break through this year, some of the new guys may take over his spot next year.

Livingston is going to be sick... I can smell it.
