Both Thompson and Finau both play the new Blueprint irons.

I expect Ping to be a player in the forged iron segment for a while. They resisted getting into the forged market forever, but it shows there is room for both.

Side note : Finau should go back to the Driver with the Accra shafts. He couldn't find a fairway with the Smoke green.

Isn’t i500 more gi than i210? I haven’t hit either but thought most ping pros played iblades or i210s

More and more Ping pros are moving into the Blueprints or creating hybrid sets.

The I500s are a part of the hollow head family. Of course there will always be Ping players that just want a cavity back design because that is what they grew up with.

I still believe that Mickleson made a huge mistake leaving Pings for Yonex. He played Pings all thru school and won his first tournaments with them.

An old Ping rep told me that it broke Karstens heart when Phil signed with Yonex because they had been so close.

I did not know Phil was a huge Ping guy when he was younger.

Ping is probably my favorite OEM if I had to pick one, great company.

I happened to be in Vegas and Phil was playing in a College tournament at the Desert Inn. My buddy and followed him for 9 holes, he was a man among boys then.

I was in the golf business for a long time. Played lots of different clubs on staff deals.
I’m no longer in the biz, and find myself gravitating back to Ping for lots of stuff.
They’re no BS. They release stuff every 18-24 months (unlike other OEMs, every 6 months).
If u r looking for a ew club, ping should be considered, regardless of what the club is.
I’m gaming a set of i210s and it’s the best stuff I’ve hit in a long time.
Blueprints r sweet, not enough forgiveness for me.
I500 doesn’t have a good sound to me. If I want hollow-body, I’m going w TM or Srixon.
I210 seems awesome for me, great forgives. Nice, clean shape, feels awesome. Good iron all around.

I agree on the I210s, they are very neat at address and they have plenty of game improvement.

While I would love to be able to play the Blueprint irons, I don't hit practice balls anymore so that would be foolish.

The G410s fit me like a glove now. They still look good at address and have never been one to worry about the looks of any offset.

One thing about Pings, they look the same 5 years old as they do when you bought. Not many clubs can say that.

And their customer service is as good as anybody's and usually better.
