yeah, they pick some random arse people lately. dennis leary, rob reiner, flava flav, saget.
norton and some other comic doing it were on the radio the other day talking about how many shitty jokes people will make about bob's last name rhyming with bnap.

Earlier this summer, I heard some of Bob Saget's standup and it wasn't funny in the least bit.
The fact that he used to be on a sitcom and had a wholesome image doesn't mean that cursing and having a dirty sense of humor instantly becomes drop dead funny. Saying frick and shite with reckless abandon doesn't equal funny. There didn't seem to be any substance to his act. I could come up with better jokes off the top of my head. I thought the point of stand up was actually writing some funny bits to throw out on stage. Hell, even if he intends it to be more of an improv thing, it was pretty pathetic regardless.
And I'm trying to come off as some comedy critic or a snob. The jist of this rant was the fact that I didn't laugh once for a 30 minute standup. I'm not usually that unforgiving.

Dane's pretty weak too, but at least he knows how to market himself. He was riding high there for a few years. I think he might be done by now.

Vicious Circle was pretty funny. The bible joke had me fricking rolling. His stuff on the insomniac tour was funny shite too. But overall i agree he's weak.
