Baltimore & Philadelphia in October

Heading to Baltimore & then taking a train to Philly in Mid October. Any must go places? Or any trip advice?

I did this exact trip last 4th of july, it was great.
Baltimore
-Edgar Allen Poe's grave - quick stop
-Everything is around the waterfront area, just walk around there. Thames Street Oyster House was good lunch spot.
-Mama's on the half shell was another good restaurant
Philly
Man there was a lot to do in Philly
-Must go to the philly museum of art (im not an art guy at all). Rocky statue is also there.
-Walk around independence mall, pretty cool, dont need to go on any tours there
-skip the cheese steak spots (pats & geno's). Find a local sandwich shop if you really want to get a cheeseteak
-Elfreth's alley, paddy's pub, and the waterfront piers are all within easy walking distance of eachother
-the hop on hop off bus is a pretty good option for this town tbh
-food was great, bars were plentiful - i remember Monk's Cafe and Mcgillans ole ale house were cool spots

I disagree about skipping Pat's and Genos. But I agree with getting another cheese steak from another place. Ishkabibles on South Street is good.
Head to the Reading Terminal Market and check it out.
If you get a chance to ride out to Valley Forge check it out.

Try eating in Little Italy. Walking distance from the Inner Harbor. Sabatino’s is my go to. For breakfast try Miss Shirleys Cafe also close to Inner Harbor.

The Barnes Museum in Philadelphia is a must. And if you like the Barnes, then check out the movie The Art of the Steal about the museum. It's very interesting.

Very short ride just south of Baltimore is the Guinness Factory where they brew Guinness Blonde. A hole in the wall place, for a drink or two, if it is a nice day, is “Nick’s on the Water”.
Camden Yards is worth a visit. Beautiful ballpark. Head over to Fells Point which is Is on the east side of Little Italy.
I only have Baltimore stuff but I hear Philly is great also.

There is a water taxi in Baltimore. Expensive, but allows you to hop from each neighborhood around the Harbor. I have no idea if Fort McHenry is open during Covid...or the restaurants for that matter.
Leaves are turning color in Mid-to-late October. Should be a gorgeous train ride to Philly.
John Wilkes Booth is also buried in Baltimore, but in not so great of an area of the city.
