Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock North Carolina. Very cheap flights from MSY to Charlotte via Allegiant and then an easy 2 hour drive.

2 nights? You are going to fly somewhere for 2 nights? I'd make it at least 3.
Depending on what you want, there's no reason to go far. You can find a somewhat secluded cabin on a lake with a fire pit on enough acreage to feel alone in almost every state.
