What’s the feeling with him? He should have decent volume but his production was trash. But on the flip side Kelley didn’t look good either.
I lost Eckeler and another manager drafted Kelley so I’m looking at picking him up. My RB depth is trash (like everyone else) so I’m probably gonna over pay on faab and I’m not happy about it.

A couple of points. First, he was slated to be RB2 in LA before he got injured in week 1. Second, the Chargers have a terrible o-line, and that has made it difficult for the RBs in games 1-4. But here's the kicker . . .
After week 5, the Chargers' upcoming games are against some of the worst defenses against the run.
I'm in a desperate situation also. Lost Barkley [insert hard luck story here].
I have to pick up TWO RBs for week 6, my list right now is
Justin Jackson (wk. 6 v. Jets)
Jamaal Williams (wk. 6 @ Tampa Bay)
Brian Hill (wk. 6 @ Min)
Darrynton Evans (wk. 6 v. HOU-31st against the run)
The waiver wire cupboard is pretty empty in my league, and I have crap to offer for a trade.

How you feel about D’Ernest Johnson over these?

I'm interested, but I think he's not what I need. I need players for week six. Browns @ Steelers week 6 does not sound like a winner. I guess we'll know soon enough because Browns play the Colts this week. For Johnson, things get easier week 8 and the week 10 with bottom tier Ds, but by then Chubb may ready to come back.

Is Chase Edmonds available? If so I’d pick him up

No. He was drafted I'm pretty sure. The pickins are slim. Damien Harris is available, but he's got a Week 6 bye and I already have James White and Rex Burkhead.

Isnt Drake heathy? You like Edmonds going forward?

Exactly. Maybe if Drake was hurt
Posted on 10/6/20 at 6:11 pm to MSG
Drake is playing 67% of the snaps. Edmonds is only playing 34%. Those aren’t encouraging numbers for drake

Chase Edmonds is 100% the #1 RB, if available, I want off the waivers.

Edmonds not available. Any other bright ideas, Fantasy Board gurus?

You said Johnson and Harris are available, they need to be priority adds for you.

Johnson has Steelers week 6 and Harris is on a bye that week. I have Carson, but he's on bye that week. My other RB was Barkley and my backups were Tevin Coleman and James White. RBs thin in my league.

CLE has the best rush offense in the league and run the ball 53% of the time, tops in the league. I mean, you are talking about williams, Hill, Evans - those guys are touching the ball like 5 times a game. It’s not a pretty situation but Johnson should at least garner double digit touches and Chubb is banged up

You are rostering James White, Tevin Coleman, and Rex Burkhead though. They are what they are at this point- their path to being relevant is if a van with the rest of their teams’ RBs drives off a cliff. Dump them and add Jackson, Johnson, Harris

I hear you. I'm far down on the waiver wire, so I have to put in for multiple options. Will add Johnson to the list and consider Harris for on of the other spots. Have A.J. Green who is also apparently expendable.

I'm dropping Coleman for one of the aforementioned options. Have Carson and Hyde, so I'll have one starter going forward after week 6. Dropping Lewis for the second option. Then question is to drop Jeff Wilson for the third--Harris and then have the whole NE backfield on my roster. Oh Lord.

Wilson has played 5, 23, and 6 snaps the last three games? This isn’t a big conundrum
Jackson and Johnson should at least have predictable roles for the near future, at least. Two offenses that will throw to RBs, maybe a GL look here and there. It adds up. Damien Harris should absorb the Michel role that saw 250 touches on average the last two seasons.

Thanks for the input, Gyno. Putting in for all because I'm low on the waiver wire. Will see what happens.

How would you rank Edmonds, Jackson, Johnson as far as waiver adds this week? I don't need any of them right away but I like hoarding RBs in case of injuries and for trade bait. Edmonds seems like he'd have the most long term value if something were to happen to Drake or if he forces a split backfield.
