Now that it is pretty much over with. What do you think of the first teamers? I have to say not to shabby.

I hope the defensive players are well conditioned because they will be running up and down the field this year. I know we are missing Vilma and McKenzie, but they looked pretty bad.

Our run blocking, particulary short yardage (goal line) was poor IMO

The team looks about the same as last year. The o-line can't run block and the defense sucks. Drew Brees will have to carry this team on his shoulders again. Looks to me like another year of up and down games with a chance at a playoff berth if things break their way. I would say anything from 7-9 to 10-6, but not a serious Super Bowl contender until the defense improves and the line is upgraded to include some run blocking types.

True, they gotta punch it in from one yard out. Lets just hope Duece comes back better than ever.
