Teddy Bridgewater @ GB
Matt Ryan vs TB
Tua vs NE

Don’t like any of the matchups and Matt Ryan has laid an egg the last few weeks. QB is beyond my weakest position. Can start two, traditional scoring. Thanks!

I'd probably go Bridgewater/Ryan but if Julio is out again I'd go Tua over Ryan. What QB options are there on your waiver wire? Might be better streaming matchups available.

Minchew is out there, and that’s it. 12 team league, max 4 qb spots per roster. Appreciate the advice, leaning towards Tua/Teddy as of now.

Start Tua

Get Hurts off the wire if you can, though.

Ryan is worthless without Julio.

Bridgewater and Ryan.

Ryan is not going to play well this week, but Belichick's record against rookie QBs is phenomenal. There is no way I would start Tua against them.

I'd look for a matchup play on the waiver wire to pair with Bridgewater.

Unfortunately, Hurts isn’t available. Agree that Ryan can’t cut it without Julio...

I'm starting Tua. I have to. The guy I'm playing is league leader and he picked up Hurts just to bench him so I couldn't start him. fricking dick.

The only real options I have on waiver are Andy Dalton and Dwayne Haskins.

I wouldn't. I'd go with Dalton or Haskins. Starting rookie QBs against Belichick is a recipe for failure. There is a 20 year track record that proves this.

I plan on doing this next week if I win this week.

Yeah but those 19 years had much better New England teams than this year's. Pats are in limp home mode.

I really like what Tua's done this year.

Here's what I posted a few weeks ago in a thread about starting Herbert vs NE:

Belichick has a loooooong track record of skullfricking rookie QBs. Kyler Murray isn't a rookie but he was flustered all day last week.

Herbert proceeded to score about 4 points that week in a 45-0 loss.

New England's main problem this year has been their offense. Start Tua at your own risk, but when it goes poorly, don't say you weren't warned.

And you really think Dalton or Haskins are safer bets?

I almost benched Tua against KC last week, and that would have been a huge mistake. Herbert hasn't been nearly as good as Tua lately.

Tua is my QB2. Frankly, if I'm going to bench him based on statistics of worse quarterbacks and better Patriots teams, there are several non-qb options that are better than Dalton or Haskins.

Wound up sticking with Bridgewater, he ended up only scoring 4 less than Aaron Rodgers (my opponent), so feeling okay with that! Still have to decide between Tua or Matt Ryan. Baring any last minute news, going to roll with Tua despite Belicheck’s history against rookie QB. Just can’t get Matt Ryan’s piss poor performance this far out of my head! Fingers crossed, appreciate the input everyone!
