So LSU screws A&M out of a playoff spot

Even in their down year, they cost A&M their spot in the playoffs despite losing to the Aggies.
All it took was beating their best and only ranked win.

This is dumb and you should feel bad. They lost to Bama. That’s what left them out. Pretty simple.

I am going with the OP on this one. I know A&M was 3 weeks rusty when they played us but we made them look *terrible*. Wasn't Mond's completion % like ~30 % or something and they punted ~15 times. That game was like watching two boa constrictors strangle each other.

Playing MJ and beating them to eliminate them would have been better.

So you saying quality wins have no bearing ? Florida losing to LSU hurt their resume. Even if you hate LSU coaches you have to admit that. Playing 10 sec games screwed everybody. Only 4 teams from the sec got a single vote in the top 25 ap poll. We beat each other to death.

But if Bama only lost to A&M then Bama would still be in the playoffs.
