Video Clip at the LINK

They must have done some subs because at one point Kira throws an alley oop to Jaxson, but it's good to see Kira getting 5 on 5 practice time with core starters.

The good thing about Lonzo being such a zero out there, as well as JJ and Hart starting the year off cold, is it gives SVG less and less of a reason not to play Kira. Hopefully similar to NAW once he gets out there he gives SVG a reason to stop the DNPs.

I didn't see Bledsoe either. I would imagine Kira was running with the starters because Lonzo and Bledsoe were both unavailable for minor bumps and bruises. I don't see this as a change in the Pels plans as much as I hope it was an opportunity Kira took advantage of to show the coaches he deserves minutes. It's probably easier to look good when your teammates are Zion and BI than when your teammates are the end of the bench guys and GLeaguers going against the starters.

PG - Kira
SG - NAW or Josh Hart
SF - BI
PF - Zion
C - Man bun

Nothing else to lose with Lonzo and Bledsoe bringing their turnovers off the bench right now. JJ needs to find his stroke in the worst way. We miss Moore's consistent scoring.

Garbriel must be close to playing, he's participating in the 5 on 5 in this video, #32.

I do'nt think you can bench Lonzo right now. He has to gain some trade value back. Bledsoe could come off the bench and still have the same value he did before the season started. I don't think Lonzo could. It would be a sign from us that we are losing faith in him.
He needs to be the SG, and he needs to focus on not dribbling the ball in the half court. He can be a $15-20M/yr player if he'd just play solid defense, continue to rebound like he does, and take smarter shots, all as a SG, b/c he'll never be a PG.

You mean completely revamping his game lol? Of course if he was THAT Lonzo, I would want the pelicans to give him 15-20 a year but he is not that player. He wasn't last season and he sure the hell isn't so far this year. He is going to make stupid arse mistakes every other game and he is going to continue taking dumb arse step back threes.

lol. Sports fans.

I’m no fan of Lonzo and I’ve been disappointed by Bledsoe, but if you think just tossing Kira and NAW into the starting lineup is the answer, prepared to be wildly frustrated.

If you think being a 3 and D guy is revamping his game, what do you think his game is?

He’s essentially that guy already. He’s just not a very good version of it.

He'd play better against 2nd units and the trade return for him is going to be underwhelming regardless of whether he is a starter.

Making better decisions? Play SG and not PG? yeah. That's not that difficult.

Even if he did what i said, i still would'nt want to pay him that much money, but some other idiot team probably would.

I think you guys are finally coming around to the fact that he's not a PG, and that he's a SG. If that is the case, is he really any better than Taurean Prince?

Lonzo Career Per36
12/7/7 with 3 turnovers, ORating 100 Drating of 109
34% 3P% with 3 of his 4 years under 33%

Prince Career Per36
16/6/2 with 2.5 turnovers, ORating 99 Drating of 110
36.6% 3P% with year 2 and 3 at 39%.

I feel like I should be the one to link you the definition of revamp.

Again, Lonzo is pretty much already a shooting guard. He’s said so himself. He’s just not very good at it.

Oh really? Have you watched the pelicans the last 2 seasons lol? It seems like most of this team is incapable of making better decisions, especially Lonzo.

You're the one saying that Lonzo playing shooting guard, being a spot up shooter, rebounder, and defender would be "revamping his game". It's not. That's already his role in the half court.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

it is at times, but he's still being asked to be the PG far too much, and that's when he looks really bad.

I saw some interesting stats making the rounds on twitter today.

I think a lot of this is coming from bringing it up the court as the "transition PG", but the ball flows through Lonzo more than anyone else by a large margin.
