1: Don’t go for it in 2, it narrows up by the green with OB both sides
2: Lay back off the tee. If you get too far up, you can be blocked out.
3: cake par 3
4: Bail out is right
5: Bail out is right
6: Aim at the center of the green no matter the pin
7: Easy par 5. OB left and creek closer on the right than you think
8: 175 yard club off the tee. Too many people hit it too far up
9: Find the fairway with whatever club you have to because you’ll most like be blocked out if you miss it
10: hit to 150 yard marker and don’t miss left
11: Aim at the cart path and don’t think out going right
12: hit it on 6 tee box
13: Plenty of room right
14: Easy par 3
15: Plenty of room right
16: Center of green par 3
17: Plenty of room right
18: Short par 5, nothing to it

Left is a potential penalty stroke on every hole other than 1, 2, 10, 11, and 18.
The par 5’s outside of #1 are relatively short so just keep your ball safe and you should pair those.
#8 is easy to birdie and easy to triple. You can play to the right and aim at the 9 tee box off the tee to take OB out of play. Unless you can hit a guaranteed 270+ on every drive, play for the layup.
Easiest holes are 2, 3, 14, and 18 imo (I know some would disagree with me on 18, but I always play it well).
You need a good drive on 15 to keep a birdie in play.
Greens usually play pretty quick.
The creek on 10 can sneak up on you if you’re a long driver. It’s usually somewhere between 280-300 but it’s also at the bottom a hill so your drives will play longer. Consider teeing a 3w.
I’ll update if I think of anything else.

I’m not thinking birdie personally, but the dude is playing in a tournament. I said to keep it in play, which is absolutely true.

FTR, it’s not a tournament, just a friendly match, but you guys gave him very solid advice and obviously know the course well
BTW, great username. LOL

I played there many times years ago. Played in the State Am that so many players got DQ'd, including Hal Sutton. Loved Frank Leach but that tournament was a fiasco - Billy Pierot won. Remember 15,16,17 being the toughest stretch. 17 had some trees that protected the green that must be gone now. Is a classic layout - graveyard next to #1 green.

It’s an ok design, but too landlocked to keep up with modern distances. I prefer more wide open courses that put a premium on iron play, which it doesn’t. Lots of trouble down the left side, which is my nemisis.

Disagree
2: Lay back off the tee. If you get too far up, you can be blocked out.
Agree
3: cake par 3
Agree
4: Bail out is right
Agree
5: Bail out is right
Agree
6: Aim at the center of the green no matter the pin
Agree
7: Easy par 5. OB left and creek closer on the right than you think
Agree if you play the tips and hit a cut. And the green is huge.
8: 175 yard club off the tee. Too many people hit it too far up
Motherfickin Agree
9: Find the fairway with whatever club you have to because you’ll most like be blocked out if you miss it
Agree
10: hit to 150 yard marker and don’t miss left
Agree (left is the creek from 7)
11: Aim at the cart path and don’t think out going right
Sort of agree, right side of the fairway shaves off yards
12: hit it on 6 tee box
Never thought of this.
13: Plenty of room right
Agree
14: Easy par 3
Agree unless the pin is in the back
15: Plenty of room right
Agree
16: Center of green par 3
Agree, bitch of a par 3
17: Plenty of room right
I guess, right is gonna be laying 1 but in jail
18: Short par 5, nothing to it
Agree but consider going for it in 2 and if you miss, just bail out right by 15 tee box

Only thing I can add is that when it’s dry, an even slight fade down the middle can go in creek right on 11

Yea but if you don’t get all of it you’ll be blocked out by trees near the pump house. Hit it at the cart path and you’ll be gold with a left or right miss. It’s also barely 500 from the tips, so 280 down the left side still leaves you a long iron in.

Based on the way you type, I’m pretty sure I know you
are your initials CS?

Didn't hit to 6 teebox, split fairway and hit it to 4 feet.
Big thanks to wahoocs for hosting me. Had a blast. Course is in great condition
