I saw him hit a HR to dead center in a Spring game in the last week with what looked to be minimal effort.

Made me wonder about his power and why he was more sought after as an acquisition over his career.

Honestly didn't know he had been suspended before.
Barbe won bot 9, 6-5 on a single by Washington
Yeah, I've only seen one televised. It was their first one. Not sure if there's been another

I have DirecTV
Gaspergou the size of good sacs, when fried fresh is no different than the difference of white trout and specks.

But like white trout, gou won't freeze well to fry later.

Anybody that says different hasn't tried them or is way too particular to be eating anything fried that I catch
Last 2 games were afternoon with the shadow falling right in front of the plate

They are having a hard time picking up the ball

Rummel finished the sweep of PBHS with a 3-2 win

Third different bat providing a HR in the series with 4 outs to go to tie

Beckers pitched a great game and had 2 of Parkview’s 3 total hits and an RBI, w Sorrel doubling in the other run

I wasn’t there, but following on GC, it appeared Rummel bunted the winning run in from 3rd off of a reliever
Their overall best position player and one of their D1 pitchers are transfers in previous years.

The girls sports are not suffering, but it’s evident that football and baseball haven’t been trending in the right direction, but I wouldn’t venture a guess on where that fits in the BR area as it relates to recruitment of talent.

As far as baseball goes, w/o Fontenot in the lineup, the offense is anemic. Pretty much missed the playoffs last year, was off to a good start this year, and now will be out for a substantial amount of time again. Kid is a difference maker when he can play.

7-1 Rummel now in 2nd game

Each team with 3 hits. LOL

I think PBHS could start each inning w bases loaded and 1 out and not score

Wooten out early at 76 pitches. Not sure if he gave up a hit
Rummel over PBHS 4-1 in first game of DH

Rummel put consecutive hits together in 3rd w 1 out. Single, HR, double. The double stole 3rd and home

No other batter reached 2nd. Sorrel gave up the 3 hits and K’d 12 with a walk in 6 IP, 92-95 by Cannizaro’s gun behind the plate

Rummel leading 2-1 going bot 3 in 2nd game. Both unearned w/o a hit vs Wooten

I guess that’s why he’s the only commit from LA in this class to LSU

Impressive regardless of opponent, much less Dutchtown, a usually solid program
I'll be at PBHS for a DH tmrw vs Rummel

Southside beat OC Monday 4-3 in extras

CHNI beat N Vermillion handily on Tues

Well, Caratini's stick was good to have and some of his value was as a 1B and LHed stick off the bench, but with the surplus of IFs, he was likely reduced to more of just the backup C role

Salazar doesn't provide anything extra. Will be limited to Diaz's days off only, IMO

I was at an Off Broadway play with a guy friend of mine in the mid 2000's and Walken was across the room at intermission and sent his assistant over to ask my friend if he would like to join Mr. Walken for drinks after the show. Walken smiled and waved as the assistant was talking to us. My friend declined and we were just kind of shocked and laughing at the brazenness of it all. True story

Well, that would definitely add to the scenarios leading to Natalie Woods death

Or that NW St 10 run ruled the NC team last year in a midweek game.

I saw on Prep Baseball Louisiana Heat Sheet where Holton registered 97.

He wasn't on the last list, so I'm guessing he started pitching only recently.

Yes, this was same timeframe.

I was never satisfied with the flight or distance. Constantly pushing the limits.

And one day, it happened. The wind, the winding of the band, and the throw were perfect. Down the neighborhood street with more altitude and speed than ever before.

Straight over the fence and into the pool of a neighbor 3 doors down and across the street. I managed to climb the fence and get it, but not before getting caught.

I also experimented a lot with weights, strings, and handkerchiefs, making parachutes. My dad was an electrician, so I had so many gadgets to perfect my science.

Yes

I know of one that sold a company for over $5B that had to have at least a 20% stake

All I’ll add is that you must do the Colosseum

I had to choose b/w the Vatican and Colosseum when given only 5 hours. No regrets about Vatican City (we paid for a VIP tour through Viator), but our taxi to airport detoured to pass around the Colosseum and the collective mouths of our group dropped in total silence

I now have to go back. But we only had 1 day in Rome after 8 days in the Tuscany area including Florence

I might do Rome and Amalfi Coast on next trip there
His arm was a deciding factor, as it relates to a future position.

Also playing a big part was Jay willing to match slot for his return
