Re: Covid Traveling; Reverse Boarding?

About to fly United for the first time post-Covid. Been doing SW for all my other trips.
I’m reading they are boarding by row, back to front. So the question is, what happens to passengers with priority status that are now the last to board if overhead space runs out?
So their priority customers will have to now check bags and wait to pick them up because United is going against the science that boarding back to front may actually increase the spread of Covid?

I heard Delta is doing back to front AFTER they do priority boarding.

I flew United a few weeks ago and this was the case
First Class/priority boarding, then back to front.

Allowed 1k to but not Plat, Gold, or Silver.
Only 30 min into this experience, but Southwest is doing it 100 times better than United. Only reason I decided to jump on United is to try to keep my status for international trips.

What if you don't want to board from the back?

Other than the one time I had to fly Spirit, I have felt that boarding is much more efficient now

It doesn't. The people in the back can't use it and they watch the bins particularly in first class.
Before you bitch about it do it. It works really well.

Well you were wrong on that, they def took up a good number of the front bins, not first class, but immediately starting in row 7.
Luckily, there was still some room, but it was tight and people in rows 7-10 were throwing crap into overheads in 1st at the end.
Had it been a completely full flight, it would have been a clusterfrick

Didn’t seem to be any more efficient

Reverse boarding or not, people will still stand up when the plane lands
