Anybody played it recently? If so, would it be worth a summer membership?

Played in a few scrambles recently. It is your run of the mill country club course. Kind of dated, but fairways and greens were in decent shape.

Played in a scramble about a month ago. Was in nice shape. Greens are very good by NOLA standards.
Curious - how much is a summer membership?

String music,
I don’t know but I saw an advertisement for them for a 3 month summer membership. I’m about to email to salesperson there.

I’ve played a few times recently just because a few of my friends have joined. It’s in good shape, and is a nice layout. I haven’t joined simply because I’m not playing enough golf right now to justify it.

You guys are probably are little young to remember or know this. But Chateau did not have a flat fairway on the course. It had bumps all over. The water table in the area caused all the fairways to buckle or bump up. I never played it but my Dad had me out on that course riding in the cart with him about 40 years ago 8,9 10 years old then.
