Shot a personal best yesterday afternoon.

Included was my first eagle. I shot an 86 (par 72). I was even through 7. Never really had a meltdown hole but missed a pile of close putts. I was ready to give up golf altogether 3 weeks ago because I couldn’t rid a fat shot with my irons. Watched a video that sort of made things click for me and I’ve been striking the ball better ever since, but really struck it well yesterday throughout the bag.
What a funny game

Check alignment with feet carefully. Deep inhale, let the exhale trigger my backswing and maintain the exhale through the swing. Doing this has helped me tremendously at swinging instead of hitting. Everything just feels more fluid

Was it this video?

Congrats. I’m going to try this. I’m where you were 3 weeks ago. I think for me it’s an issue with my back elbow on the backswing but for whatever reason, it’s not a problem at the range. I seem to swing completely differently once the lights come on and I’m on the course.
