For that much money have Titleist/Footjoy set up a tent and let the player pick their own merchandise. They get what they want instead of getting something they may already have. They will set up with bags, shoes, shirts, clubs, etc….

Depends on the retailer but most do it as a form of marketing. They are given a opertunity to apply for a marketing budget for a well known tournament or high volume tournament, where (say Titleist) will give them a set discount on the price of the cost of vertain items; mostly dead stock or expiring stock, balls, clothes. they will offer those items at a discount to the tournament attendees for about 30-40% discount of regular priced items...Basically covering the cost of the item and some tax or handling fee.

I got a pretty sweet pair of Nike shoes when i played in a tournment at UC a few years ago, I was given a voucher for $80 and that was the cost of the shoes and a pair of sock or something else.

they will offer other higher priced items as well if you want to throw in some cash for the total, mostly those charges cover the time for the attending rep. or will throw some extra money into the general fund for the tournaments charity.

Oh dang, I didn’t realize they’d do that.

Have you played Clearwater CC? Played it for the first time this week and it is, interesting. The front 9 is the weirdest layout I’ve ever seen.

Good chance Britt and I are playing Waterlefe Monday morning. Come play if you have time.

I have played Clearwater CC and I will say this...It is a crap hole and a half

I will most likely not make waterlefe, even though it is one of my favorite in the area. Enjoy it and don't miss left.

Went to the meeting last night.

Budget is $250.

Would you rather have 1 next level gift, or a decent gift each of the 3 days?

I’m ok with either.

What about a choice of a next level gift? Give the attendees a choice of maybe 4-5 options

Push cart? High level bags? Nice shoes? Maybe add on a dozen balls or some shite like that
