Man i have to say, bastrop is a beast this year, they have a great recruiting program, and should have some new players after IKE leaves out,it must be nice, I really wanna see the Rams get shut out by the WEST MONROE REBELS

Brad Bradshaw looks like one miserable human being. His overall demeanor appears as if he really hates his job.

Dude needs to lighten the frick up.

What's up with Bradshaw complaining about a running clock on national TV after his team won by 5 TDs? I guess they didn't get to run up the score enough to suit him.

Did Bastrop replace West Monroe as the best team in NELA??

First game Les. Did look a little sloppy but overall dominated PBD at their place.

Couldn't be further from the truth. I'm not gonna speak for him but the feeling I have is that he loves coaching and cares a lot about his players.

they looked pretty good

just saying if they are considered the best team in the state, tehn its a down year for LA football

I'm pretty sure that Bastrop will be down a little and may NOT be the best team in state this year, but its kinds hard to judge them at this point. It was first game, on the road, wet, and the added pressure of being on TV. Of course I'm a bit biased, but they did win 42-6, with PBD's only TD coming on a 93 yard return as we were going in to score another. That and the running clock prevented us from scoring 70 on a traditionally decent. Arkansas team.
Rueben looked good at QB but I'd like to t see him be able to move back to WR.

This may have happened if they played a few years ago, but there is no way West Monroe could shut them out now. Although, I would like to see Bradshaw and Shows put the past behind them and schedule a game.

You dont think it could happen now? I think this years WM D. When healthy could shut anyone in the state down.

If Bastrop goes up the middle 6'2 300lb Chuck Hunter is there.

on the edge 6'6 260 lb Jordan Allen holds down one spot and Mingo holds down the other.

the deep pass- Tyler Glynn and JD Brown are two above average corners and JOnas Tyson and Samer Magoub are very good at SS/FS.

I know games are not played on paper but I would think WM could shut down BAstrop this year easier than last year.

When I think of shutout, the score of zero comes to mind. There is no way West Monroe would totally shut down the Bastrop offense. I do agree the game could go either way, but neither team would leave with zero on the scoreboard.

Well Im not saying we could shut Bastrop out as in 0 points but I think we could definetly contain them and keep them under 150 total yards. I really wish we could play this game. Even if we were to lose if would help us so much.

I agree, it would help both programs and be a great game. Bastrop's D didn't impress be last night, it was the first game though. The opposing team was sloppy in my opinion.
