We currently use prize money for each player. This makes it essential to pick the champion and the top places are overemphasized. Picking a 1st place and a missed cut is worth more than picking 2nd and 3rd for instance.

My suggestion is to use draftkings points. Now that it’s legal in Louisiana, it should be easy to tabulate, you can even enter a free contest just to see point values per player.

Picking the winner should be worth much more than those who don’t. The winner is rarely some flyer at the big tournaments so usually you have multiple posters picking the winner and the guy who has the best 2/3/4 guys wins. That’s how it should be. If you win with a flyer that no one else picked, then good for you.
