does this person have NFL type abilities that can be developed?

Hatch seems to me is a manager, serviceable, not really a starter/, but I am most confortable with him in the game at this point....He at least give me a feeling that he will take care of the ball, run for first downs, etc..

Lee has upside, needs more reps

JJ probably has the most upside (height, speed, and arm strengh)

Garrett?
Shepard?

why does JJ have more upside than lee? Because he is three inches taller, or 6 pounds lighter? Please go a little further in depth as to why he has more upside

Lee has the most upside by far. No need to explain.

Is "upside" the new trendy word for "talent?"

Hatch average runner/average passer

Lee average passer/below average rusher

JJ above average rusher/ from the one pass i have seen him throw incapable passer.

I think offense is suited better for Hatch. If we were a traditional Jimbo Fisher offense, I think lee would be more comfortable. That is just my observations watching television. Which means squat.

Well I don't know? The reason I started the still thread. I presented my thoughts, but I have no clue about upside...Can we get Crowton in here?

JJ... We run the wishbone, win a NC and Barry Switzer shows up in Miami yelling "I told ya, I told ya!! The wishbone is unstoppable"

No SEC defense can stop our skill players if we ran the bone.

I have never been a fan of the wishbone at LSU until this year.

We modified the offense for JR, we modified it for Flynn. Time to stop running the Flynn offense with non Flynn Qb's

No need to explain how Lee has more upside then Jefferson?

How many practices have you attended to come to this conclusion?

Hatch is a capable game manager when LSU plays against much inferior opponents. Whenever he can help LSU move the ball down the field in SEC play will I then call him a game manager.

every time one of our QB's take a snap i get nervous. still not impressed with any of them. I just hope its because we are still running a real vanilla offense.

I am not impressed with Lee or Hatch myself. I couldn't believe how far off the mark Lee was when we were close to the endzone. I think he threw it through the goal post. It reminds me of Russel's junior year. I would cringe everytime a pass was thrown. Maybe they are both still very nervous. Anyway, I think we can beat Auburn. As far as Florida goes, obviously if we blitz pretty much every down, Tebow seems to not be so great. I think we beat Georgia also. Bama, is gonna be tough.

It is NOT a Flynn offense. it is a Crowton offense. He knows what we have in our QB's and should be able to adjust the offense to their capabilities.

By the way, the so called Flynn offense won a national championship. Flynn has already demonstrated during NFL preseason that he many of you "Flynn" haters were wrong.

repeating, flynn has graduated, it is not a Flynn offense it is Gary Crowton's offense.

It may sound stupid, but I wondered if Miles didn't tell him to do that. It was so off the mark it was almost obvious. I don't think he wanted to run the score up anymore. That's just my call...

jj is 6:6

Lee is 6:1

JJ is 5 inches taller.

Lee lacks confidence, was scarred against North T. how will he react on the road at Au?

Although he did make some good passes he grossley over threw 2 wide open recievers.

upside is irrelevant to the tigers this year. Who is the best qb for this season is the question you should be asking.
